so, this happened in the new ff and it’s actually kinda adorable and not tacky garbage.

and it’s adorable and heartwarming, even if entirely out of left field
fraction and marvel didn’t bill this as THE FIRST TRANS CHARACTER IN COMICS EVVVEERRRRRRR. they didn’t pander to shitty tabloids. they just did it and made something kinda cute.
gail simone had an entire issue and mainstream press and it was the tackiest, most tone-deaf, un-self-aware bullshit ever.
